Driving Directions from Atlanta: Quail Hunting

Take I-75 South toward Florida. Get off on exit #97, which will be the (Wenona-GA Alt. 33 exit.

Turn right onto GA Alt 33 and proceed approximately 2 miles until this road dead-ends. (You will go through one Stop sign) Turn Left on to GA Hwy.33 South. Proceed 26 miles to Sylvester, GA. Once in Sylvester, go to the first traffic light which is US 82/GA 112.

Turn right and proceed approximately 150 yard to the next traffic light.

Turn Left at the light onto GA 112 South. Go 10.9 miles to the “crossroads” of GA 112 and GA 133 (there is a small store at this intersection).

Turn Left onto GA 133 South and Proceed Approximately 7 Miles until you cross Railroad Tracks.

Turn Right on to Tricknor Road, which is just past the railroad tracks. Proceed 2 mils to the Stop sign at Thigpen Trail.

Cross Thigpen Trail onto the dirt road and go approximately 2 miles to the next Stop Sign.

Turn Right at this Stop Sign and go about 1 mile to Quail Harvest Driveway Sign. Use caution on this last stretch of road.

Directions From Florida

Take I-75 North until you reach Valdosta, GA (approximately 25 miles north of the FL-GA state line).

Take the Valdosta-Moultrie Exit (Hwy 133) and turn West. Highway 133 West will bring you into Moultrie where you will turn right at first traffic light (Hwy 133 and Hwy 319 East By-Pass).

Hwy 133 will take you to Doerun, GA. where you will take a Left.

Go all the way through Doerun on Hwy 133 until you pass the cotton gin on the right. When you see the railroad track outside Doerun, you will take a left on Ticnor Road (Right before you get to the Railroad tracks).

There is another Ticnor Road close to town so do not mistakenly take it. Follow Ticnor Road, cross the first intersection at Thigpen Trail, it turns into a Dirt Road. Follow the Dirt Road until you see Tyson's Chicken House on the Left

Take a Right at the intersection (a Funny Y-Intersection).

Cross a creek and go up two steep hills. At the bottom of the second hill you will see a sign that says “Quail Harvest Plantation”. Follow the driveway to the Lodge.
